With no secured funding the charity now relies solely on the generosity of the public, local organisations and local business. Thanks to all that support the charity we are all very grateful .

Andover Neighbourcare would like to thank Sylvia Thornton, Sheila Ballantyne and all the helpers from the afternoon club, for their kind donation towards our Christmas activities. Today everyone enjoyed a fish and chip lunch and a game of bingo. This club is held on a Monday afternoon at the United Reformed Church. A few spaces still remain.

We would also like to thank all the general public that have supported us and joined as friends. The 4 Toons a local community group busked for two hours at Asda on 20th June and raised £256.80p for Neighbourcare. Grateful thanks for their support.
Freemasons from The Hampshire Masonic Order of the Secret Monitor selected Andover Neighbourcare to receive a donation of £500 towards the running costs of the charity. Head of the order Mick Hayward presented the cheque. The charity is very grateful for all the support they receive from all the lodges.

Saint Hubert Lodge kindly offered to contribute to our members Christmas party this year. The lodge provided sherry and wine and sorted the venue with Danny Weymouth the manager of the Masonic Hall. A super two course meal was provided by Alan Mead and his team and a great time was had by all. Special thanks to Paul Jeans and Roger Sims for all their efforts. Alderman Rod Bailey trustee of Neighbourcare attended the event and warmly thanked everyone involved.
Andover Neighbourcare members Christmas party was a huge success. Once again Helen Perrin brought her team from Simply Health who set tables and cleared. The team also entertained the members with a quiz and ran a raffle that raised £177. Simply Health also donated £500 towards a present for those attending and supplied the crackers and mince pies. A huge thank you to all that helped to make the day such fun.
A huge thank you to Portway Infant School for their donation of £245 from their silver collection at their Christmas performance. It is really nice to have the children of Andover involved with the charity. Merry Christmas to you .

Andover Neighbourcare would like to thank Roger Cotton, Debbie Clark and team, Helen Coomber and team and Paul Jeans from Simplyhealth for the best Christmas present ever. In 1998 the charity was given a mini bus from the lottery which unfortunately died earlier this year, leaving us no other choice but to hire a bus to carry on our activities. Hearing of our plight a funding application to raise funds to help replace the bus was presented to the Head of Charitable Giving. Pam Delderfield manager of Neighbourcare was overwhelmed when given a donation of £30,000 from this local healthcare provider at the members Christmas party in the Masonic Hall.
A huge thank you to the Unity Christian Church for their kind donation of £1,200. The money was raised from the pantomime they produced at 'The Lights' in January. We hope to return their kindness by offering the use of our new bus that we take delivery of late March.

A huge thank you to 'The Inner Wheel Club of Andover ' who have kindly donated £250 to Neighbourcare. The amount was raised from various fundraising events throughout the year.
The 4 Toons community entertainment group raised £180 for Neighbourcare at their party night at the Hayward Suite, Wolverdene Club last month. Many thanks to the club for giving the venue for free and a huge thanks to the 4 Toons who are regular fundraisers for Neighbourcare. A great deal of hard work went in to organising the event for which we are most grateful

A huge thank you to Dave Tilling who is current Master of Saint Hubert Lodge 1373 for their kind donation of £200. The donation has been given to go towards the Neighbourcare members Christmas party. The party will be held at the Masonic Hall on Tuesday 5th December.
A great Christmas party was held at the Masonic Hall on December 5th. Over 100 members enjoyed a wonderful meal and entertainment to celebrate Christmas and also the charities 25th anniversary. Romama Adbin Chief Executive of Simplyhealth was joined by members of the companies leadership team who all volunteered to set up and serve the lunch. Simplyhealth also provided the raffle, a quiz, gifts to take home and a fabulous sing a long with a choir put together from the workforce. Saint Hubert Lodge for donating £200 for the wine and Paul Jeans for providing the sherry. Reverend John Harkin from St Mary's church led grace before the meal. This was the best Christmas party we have ever given and a huge thanks must go Simplyhealth who did most of the hard work, Reverend John Harkin, Danny Weymouth for his input that make the day go so smoothly, Alan Mead and helpers for a wonderful meal and Neighbourcare drivers for delivering the guests safely. Richard Oliver from bournes estate agents also helped on the day. This event will be hard to top. Thank you everyone for making this such a huge success.
